2 March 2010. Pretoria, South Africa. Prof. Mayaji, CEO of the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency met with Dr, Jones. He confirmed that the next CAADP day will be held on 21 July 2010 in Ouagadougou within the Africa Agriculture Science Week. CAADP Champions will be invited to share progress made in the implementation of CAADP at country level.
AfriCANDO award night at the Africa Agriculture Science Week
12 March 2010. Accra, Ghana. The Foundation for Democracy in Africa confirmed that they will be holding their annual symposium and awards gala within the Africa Agriculture Science Week. The international symposium is now in it's 13th year of hosting business expo and Awards Gala. The Awards Gala gives out the Medal of glory award which is FDA's highest honor bestowed to select leaders for a lifetime of contributions to the advancement of development, democracy and good governance in Africa.
